experience
With over 25 years of legal experience, Jeff is a graduate of the University of Oregon Law School, and his practice is largely devoted to public sector legal work with a significant portion involving advising municipalities on planning, zoning and land use issues. He has extensive experience in drafting and revising municipal ordinances and addressing administrative matters.
In addition to being named the 2010 Distinguished Municipal Attorney of the Year by the Michigan Association of Municipal Attorneys, Jeff is also a five-time recipient of the Michigan Super Lawyers rating for public sector attorneys, which is given annually to outstanding lawyers who have attained a high-degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. He is a former chairperson of the Public Corporation Law Section of the State Bar of Michigan (2007-2008), and continues to actively serve on that body. He also served as a member of the Michigan Municipal League's Legislative and Urban Affairs Committee.
