Mike Christensen Ordinance Prosecution


As a former District Court Judge, Mike Christensen has overseen a wide variety of cases. His career began with an undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan, followed by a degree from the University of North Dakota School of Law. He soon landed a job in the Criminal Division of the City of Grand Rapids Attorney's Office and followed that up by spending seven years in the Kent County Prosecutor's Office where he worked mainly in the Child Victim Felony Unit.

Mike's career ultimately led him to be appointed Judge in the 61st District Court in Grand Rapids, where he presided over criminal and civil matters for a number of years.

With Mike’s experience and reputation in the legal community, he is not only an important part of the BSM legal team, he is also well-regarded and successful in his role as prosecutor of criminal misdemeanors, traffic violations, and other ordinance violations for our municipal clients.
